Provisional balls & calling others through

Dear Member,
It has become apparent from the monitoring process during Saturday competitions over the last couple of weeks that some members are not playing provisional balls in instances where the original ball could possibly be lost. Members are reminded to play a provisional ball if there is any possibility that the original ball might be lost.
Further, there have also been instances where members have not called through the group behind once they have elected to return to the tee to play another ball or when they have fallen behind and are unable to keep up with the pace of play of the group in front of them. This is contrary to the details contained in the Competition Guidance document and also general Golf Etiquette.
