Early season defeat for Scratch Team v County
The Michael Vans Agnew Trophy
The match played between the current county scratch team champions and county first team is normally the season opener, it should have been played last year, but was cancelled due to covid. It was fitting that the match was played ahead of the sad passing of Michael Vans Agnew, former County Captain, who passed away on the Monday. We obviously send our best wishes to his family & friends.
The match was won by the county 7 1/2 - 4 1/2 but it was a close match with several halved matches or close defeats.
