Wins for Ash Rees & Mandy Hilton
A windy weekend for Gold Cup & Gold Vase
Ashley Rees won the Gold Cup with scores of 37+28 - 65pts to win by 3pts over George Mills and Oliver Dickman. In gale force winds & rain, Ashley shot a sensational -1 round, which left too much to do for the rest of the field in round 2.
Amanda Hilton (18+16 = 34) won the Ladies event in a much closer contest, wining by just 1 point from Sue Davis. (17+16= 33).
Carlo Mendes won the Holland Cup by 5 shots with fantastic final round (32+37= 72) from Jake Humphrey (30+34 = 64).
Jane Saunders won the Farrant Vase with (26+32 = 58) to win by eight shots from Alicia Phillips (28+22= 50) to win her first 36-hole trophy.
