As you know, the Club runs many social events throughout the calendar year. In the past, the process has been that people would put their names down on a sign-up sheet in the foyer and money would be collected on the night.

However, this is all about to change. We are now using a platform called Eventbrite in order to promote and manage our social events. When we launch an event, every member will be sent an email with information on how to book tickets for the event. They will be able to book tickets for up to 10 people and money will be taken on booking.

The reason for this change is so that we can manage, promote and run our events a lot more professionally. It also will give us greater data when it comes to reviewing each event and shape decisions on what social events we offer in the future.

The first event we will be using this platform is for the always popular Race Night. You will be receiving an email on how to book for this event early next week so keep your eyes peeled!
