BULLIVANT BOWL WINNERS
North Middlesex Come Out On Top
On Sunday 13th October, six of North Middlesex's finest gentleman competed in the final of the Bullivant Bowl against Finchley Golf Club. This was the first time North Middlesex had been in the final of a team event since we won the Middlesex Sixes back in 2017. A team consisting of Dermot O’Brien, Peter Marsh, Piotr Ptaszek, Ian Lawrence, Adam Wagstaff and James Cheshire held their nerve to convincingly win 2.5 to 0.5.
There had been many changes to the team during the year with people floating in and out of the required handicap requirements for the competition. Congratulations go not to just the 6 men who competed in the final but all of those who represented the Club in the competition throughout the year (Steve Johnston, Michael Wright, Pat King, Kevin Knox, Pat Murphy and David Vail).
This is a fantastic achievement for the Club, being the first time we have won the competition, and we hope to build on this success in external competitions next year!!
