Greens Update
14th Tee Box
I am delighted to report the greens have recovered well from the annual maintenance work carried out last month.

The weather has helped the greens to settle down much quicker than anticipated and Ben and his team are pleased with how the greens have recovered in just a few weeks. You will enjoy smooth, true, firm and fast putting surfaces throughout September and October and even into November.

We have a busy couple of weeks on the course with works starting around the ladies and men’s 14th teeing areas. This has been a problematic area and the team will be clearing away overgrown shrubs, dead trees, debris, etc. that have been steadily encroaching onto the tees. The aim will be to increase the airflow and encourage growth which will ensure a better playing surface. The ladies and men’s tees will be levelled and re-turfed, and whilst this work is undertaken the red and white tees will be moved to the teeing area around the corner where the mat will be in play for the time being.
