There was an exciting finish to the Club Championship with 3 players tied for the lead playing the 17th hole. Andy Larkin produced a brilliant birdie 3 on the 18th to post +1 for the tournament and then had to wait and see if his total would stand up.

Overnight leader Steve Graham bogeyed the 17th to drop a shot behind, but Ashley Rees birdie to stand at +1, both players narrowly missed their birdies on 18, so it was into extra holes between Ash Rees & Andy Larkin.

Ash Rees held his nerve to hole an 8ft putt to save par on the 1st extra hole to extend the play-off. The Par 5 10th often settles play-offs, today was no exception, when Andy Larkin took on the second shot over water, but failed to make the required contact resulting in a penalty shot allowing Ash to make a solid par for the championship.

Karl Nilchibar took the Silver Cup for the best nett score with a total of 141, closely followed by Andy Larkin & Marcus Opoku in joint second on 143.
