So the sun was shining brightly and the birds were in full voice around this scenic setting on the East Course A slight cooling breeze We welcomed our visitors from Chart Hills familiar faces returning to ESN

6 couples a side - 4 ball betterball - Nice format

Off we went with Captain Lockyer leading the way with the ever reliable Moira The team performed valiantly The weather changed with a strong wind on the back nine for several holes testing our golfing talents Victories were gained by Lockyers Barrie and Sue Holland John and Liz Ditchburn Phil Boghurst and Jane Saunders Coupled with a valiant fighting half from John and Maureen Bundy

All washed down by cooling drinks thereafter and a sit down served 2 course lunch

Our visitors seemed to really appreciate the day and thanks must go to all the bag drop guys and Kevin and his team for looking after us so well

We hope for a return match at Chart Hills at a date to be decided next year
