Captains Update
2019 Captains Charities
At the AGM I said I would try and have a 'Scouse' theme to everything we do this year and after some great suggestions all of your generous contributions will be going to the following great causes:

ALDER HEY CHILDRENS HOSPITAL: Liverpool
This famous scouse institution cares for over 275,000 children, young people and their families each year including many of us from Wychwood Park. As one of Europe's biggest and busiest children's hospitals, they treat everything from the Common Cold to highly complex and specialist conditions.

THE RUSSETT SCHOOL: WEAVERHAM
The Russett School is a registered community maintained Special School which offers a specialist range of provisions to support children and young people with Severe & Complex Learning Difficulties including speech & language difficulties and Autism. Brendan Carberry's son attends this school so not only are we supporting one of our own but he provides the tenuous Scouse link as a True Blue Toffee!

Both really important institutions providing invaluable support to children in unfortunate circumstances.

I'm counting on Wychwood Park to make scousers envious of our generosity!

Thanks in advance for your much needed contributions.
