Yesterday saw the annual match between The Club and The Stage committees, played on a damp and cold afternoon, for the coveted Masks Trophy. The Trophy was with The Stage, from their victory last year, so revenge was much on the cards for The Club. And how sweetly it was executed, with a resounding match victory three games won and one halved.

To add to the excitement of the match, teeing off on 12, our Member for House, Mike Pearson, hit a superb shot off with a high draw into the front of the green - two bounces, and a roll into the cup for an ace.


Mike with a big grin safe in the knowledge that a cold afternoon would not mean a packed clubhouse!

Today we had our Midweek Stableford and congratulations to David Lymburn on winning with 39 points, from Jeremy Williams and Scott Ingram both on 38. Simon Kimble took the best scratch with a 76 gross including four birdies.
