From Thursday 25th April (tomorrow) the use of fairway mats will come to an end and replaced with preferred lies on fairways. Any ball laying in the rough within 150 yards will be played as found.
We had communicated previously that we would give a weeks ‘practice’ away from the winter restrictions before any qualifying competitions took place therefore the white tee markers will be in place on all par 4s and 5s this weekend with a view of the first qualifier taking place on May 4th.
The par 3 holes will remain on the mats for a further week.
