St George's Day Lunch
Mr Captain enjoyed the St George's Day Lunch!
Sunday saw a very successful and enjoyable afternoon at DGC.
72 members and guests joined together for a delicious and plentiful 3 course meal with entertainment from The Armthorpe & Elmfield Brass Band.
The room was decorated with the flag of St George which helped create a real buzz and a fantastic atmosphere.
The band were amazing, playing a great variety of music including Queen, Dambusters theme, Scottish Music and of course Jerusalem and Pomp & Circumstance.
The bar and catering staff worked hard to ensure everyone had a lovely afternoon - some attendees had been to the Lunch every year since it was launched and were not disappointed, complimenting the organisers on another magnificent year.
