Seniors at Perranporth
Tough Conditions Experienced
In what could only be described as the most challenging conditions our Seniors achieved an highly commendable half in their match against Perranporth on Monday 8th April.

With strong winds and driving rain it was testament to the spirit of all 16 team members that they completed their rounds.

Notable performers were Charlie Evans and Steve Blyth (pictured above) who scrambled back from 2 down over the last few holes to come out 2 ahead with 1 hole to play.

Captain Barber and his partner Rob Blakesley came in comfortable winners, as did Jeff Deakin and Ian Alford. Dave Phillips with Mark Jones achieved a creditable half in their match, as did newcomer Jim Sinclair-Smith with his partner David Winks. We welcome Jim to the fellowship that is Cornish Seniors golf.

All involved are hoping for much better weather when our seniors meet up again for their home match against The Point on Thursday 11th April.
