The Seniors learned of the sad passing of Mike Littlejohn during the past week. Mike joined WPGC in 2005, was a former club Captain, Seniors’ Captain, and significant contributor to the Seniors’ Committee. He didn’t suffer fools gladly and always spoke his mind, which alienated some people, but his wit, banter and contributions will be sadly missed. We have a lot to thank him for. RIP Mike

46 Senior’s, partners, family and friends enjoyed another superb Simon carvery at their Spring Lunch. They were also joined by the Lady Captain, Sade Gbago, and other lady members as well as Past President John Holden. An informal table quiz and a presentation of flowers to a lucky lady completed the fun.

The Seniors’ ‘Summer’ season teed off with a home fixture vs. Redbourn Friars, and a superb team performance resulted in a resounding 5-1 win. The next match is in 2 weeks home to Abbey Hill.

Steve Spink's M4 Winter League team played their final league match away at West Middlesex, the home sides’ fate in the mini-league having already been sealed. We lost this match but still qualified for the knock-out phase where it gets really.interesting
