Lee Sexton trying to make History
Lee striding out trying to become the first member to defend the ladder
Lee Sexton , defending Champion, defeated plus handicap golfer , Dean Plant 6 & 5 on Saturday as the ladder moves into the closing weeks. The shot difference of 10 shots proved too much for Dean as Lee remained in pole position. Next up for Lee is the big hitting Laurie Richards who beat Kim Horsted 5 & 3, there will be little in the handicaps.

Neil Gray has moved into the 3rd place and is likely to battle Jack Divall in 5th spot for a crack against the winner of the top match.

Liam Baitup (6), Homi Falak (7) & Simon Blakeney (9) are all in the picture with only 3 weeks left , those further back will be hoping for a good draw to challenge the top spots.

There are 5 prizes in both the Ladder & League , with only one prize per player , still much to play for.

The League remains very close, but it is now looking likely that the winner will come from the top 5, in the event of a tie , the league position will be used for countback.
Liam Baitup leads the league by 2 points
