18th hole decided at White defends top spot
Ross White was delighted to have come through a tough match with Laurie Richards, Richards led 2up after 14 holes, but White fought back and capitalised on his opponents bogey on the 18th.

Both players were out of position , but a low punch by White under the trees ended up on the green for a match winning par.

Ross spends most weekends in the Summer with his Morris Dancing Troupe, so the winter offers a break from his dancing competitions, Ross stated '' it's something I've done since I was young, having rhythmical hips helps with my golf ''

Gary Wickens jumped from 9th to 2nd with a comfortable win over Tom Chatterway.

Mark Earley suffered an unusual defeat to Andy Mitchell in defence of his league trophy.
