Joint Captains' Day.....
A Great Success!!
We never let the weather dampen our spirits at Gedney Hill Golf Club and that was proven on Saturday, 15th July 2023, Joint Captains' Day. The winds blew and the rain fell (although not as much as we expected) but irrespective of the weather there was a great turnout.
Many thanks to Neil Bird and Julie Bye for all their help during the day. Thanks too, to all the players for braving the elements, donating raffle prizes etc etc. An amazing amount of £1,023.00 was raised on the day. This, together with any other funds raised during the year, will be donated to Pancreatic Cancer UK. Sadly we lost 2 Members to this horrific disease last year.
