The Balmore Senior Open Pairs was held today with around 170 competitors taking part.

The winners of the D H Russell trophy were Windyhill members, Stephen Hart and Rudy Hanel, with an excellent stableford score of 44 points, just pipping Balmore’s Alastair Strachan and Alastair Hendry who scored 43 points. David McGhie and Austin Kelly from Littlehill also had 43 points but had a lower number of points on the back 9.

7th – James Maxwell & Ray Fitzsimmons from Knightswood – 41 points - £15 each
