CARE OF THE GOLF COURSE
REPAIRING DIVOTS, PITCH MARKS ETC.
To support Mike and his team it is vital that ALL golfers play their part in taking good care of the course - for example, by replacing divots, smoothing bunkers, repairing ball-marks, and not causing unnecessary damage to the course.

To prevent such unnecessary damage:

You SHOULD NOT:

- remove divots when taking practice swings.

- strike the head of a club into the ground, whether in anger or for any other reason.

- damage the putting green by putting down bags or the flagstick.

- stand too close to the hole.

- use the head of a club to remove your ball from the hole.

You SHOULD;

- take care not to damage the hole when removing the flagstick and your ball.

- properly replace the flagstick in the hole.

- follow the correct procedure to repair pitch marks (DO NOT pry up the centre of the depression). From all sides of the pitch mark lever the turf towards the centre and gently tap the repaired area with your putter).

- repair your own pitch mark and at least one other.

REMEMBER - IT IS YOUR COURSE SO PLEASE KEEP IT IN GOOD CONDITION.
