34 members braved the wet conditions to produce some fantastic golf on Fireworks Night.

Sterling Wakefield, a former drummer with Elton John, went off like a firework and proved too hot to handle for the defending champion as he made 6 birdies on the front nine, but such was the brilliance of the game , he was only 2 up at the turn.

Another 2 birdies on the back nine with a 3-putt from Macdougall secured the win and drop Robert down to 7th.

Former Champion, Mark Earley, won 3/2 over Jack Divall to move into 2nd spot, Ian Pagan defeated Paul Cullen to leap from 17th to 3rd.
